We will start to send out the offers for autumn term 2025 no earlier than 5th of June 2025. The process will take several weeks so everyone will not get the offer at the same time. Please wait patiently for your offer. The offers will be sent during TYS Office hours (Mo-Fri 8am-4pm). We don´t sent the offers during weekends.
Please also note that we will only send one offer per application and the offer is valid for four days. Accepted housing offer is binding. After accepting the offer, we will send you a link via email to sign your lease.
The housing offers are sent online after TYS has received your application and checked that you have valid study certificate. You will receive an email notification when the offer has arrived and can be viewed in the Applicant service.
Please also note that TYS can’t accommodate all exchange students arriving to Turku, as TYS has around 410 rooms for exchange students. The accommodation option you have chosen on the application form is only considered as a preference and can’t be guaranteed. Only one housing offer can be sent to each exchange student as the rooms are booked very quickly. If we can’t offer you the housing option you prefer, we automatically offer you another option.
The accepted housing offer is binding, so please check the dates and other details before accepting a housing offer. Accepted offer can not be cancelled or terminated.
