Exchange student Housing Options

Student Village West offers apartments with a shared kitchen:

Rents:

• All apartments, excluding 1st floor of building 12A,: 389,33 €/month (including furniture fee)
• First floor of building 12A: 404,33 €/month (including furniture fee) – the apartments are equipped with air heat pumps and the shared kitchen has two dishwashers

The kitchen is located in the end of each corridor and shared by other tenants in the same floor, usually 12 tenants/floor. The kitchens is equipped with two ovens and stoves. Each tenants has a mini fridge inside their apartment. Please note that the kitchens are locked during night-time (23.00-6.00).

Student Village West has saunas, laundry rooms for tenants to book. There also a club room which can be booked via the tenant committee. Student Village East tenants can also apply to have an access to Tyyssijas common room TYS n´ Chill.

Student Village East is located appx. 2km from the campus areas of the Universities in Turku and 3km from the Turku city centre.

There are good bus connections to the city centre and the Universities. The busses leave every 15 minutes from 6 am to 9 pm and there are also some late night shifts. The trip by bus to the city center takes about 15 minutes and to the university about 10 minutes. There is also a Turku city bike stops in the area where you can rent a bike (the fee is 6€/month).
