TYS is turning 60 this year, and what better way to celebrate than by enjoying a delicious meal together?
We want to celebrate TYS’s 60-year journey together with our tenants. Promoting tenants’ well-being, sense of community, belonging and equality is an important part of TYS’s responsibility work. Nutritious and varied food supports students’ energy levels and concentration. That is why, as part of our 60th anniversary celebrations, TYS is offering every teanant a free lunch at Juvenes Restaurant Block (Inspehtorinkatu 12).
You must register for the lunch in advance via Kide.app. You can find the link to the Kide.app event on the Notices tab of your Tenant Pages. After registering, you can enjoy your lunch on any day that suits you best between 15th October and 15th December 2026 and choose your preferred meal from three options available. (Please note that the offer does not apply to Fusion Kitchen meals.)
Please note that you can register only once, and the person registering must be a TYS tenant with a valid TYS tenancy agreement in October 2026. The lunch cannot, for example, be booked for a child. We will verify that the person who registers is a TYS tenant.
Registration opens in Kide.app on 28th September at 10:00 and closes on 11th October. There is room for 7,000 registered participants.
How to register
1.Download the Kide.app or use a web browser
Kide.app can be used either through the mobile app or a web browser: https://kide.app/en/
2.Register for the service
Create a Kide.app user account and login details.
We recommend using the same email address that you use to log in to your Tenant Pages. If you already have an account registered with another email address, you can also use your existing account.
We recommend creating your account well in advance of the registration opening.
3.Register for lunch
Registration opens on 28th September at 10:00 and closes on 11th October. Log in to Kide.app and reserve your lunch ticket. You can find the link to the event on the Notices tab of your Tenant Pages.
4.Show your ticket when you come for lunch
After registering, you will find your event ticket in Kide.app. To receive your lunch, show your ticket at Juvenes Restaurant Block between 15th October and 15th December 2026. You can show the ticket on your phone either through the Kide.app mobile app or a web browser.
