Maintenance services of Turku Student Village Foundation transfer to Arkea Oy at the beginning of December – door opening service and security guard’s phone numbers as well as maintenance service’s emergency service number will change!

Turku Student Village Foundation has tendered out the maintenance contract of their properties after the previous contract period with ISS A/S ends. Based on the competitive tendering, the new maintenance service contract has been made with Arkea Oy. The contract period starts on December 1st, 2020.

The change of the maintenance company applies to the maintenance services of apartments as well as the maintenance of outdoor areas in all TYS’s housing locations except the housing locations of Iltakajo and Auringonnousu. There will be no change in the producers of cleaning and greening services.

The change of the maintenance company does not require any actions from the tenants. The tenants can still fill in the fault report through the Tenant Pages and the report will be handled by the maintenance company as before. The fault reports that have already been made will be handled according to the normal process.

However, in connection to the maintenance service change, the door opening service and security guard’s phone numbers as well as the maintenance service’s emergency service number will change. The new numbers are in all TYS’s housing locations, except for Iltakajo and Auringonnousu:

  • Door opening service/disorderly conduct (THV Tele-ja hälytysvalvonta Oy): 02 284 6998 (normal phone call rates apply)
  • Emergency maintenance service: 0500 523 759 (normal phone call rates apply)

Iltakajo and Auringonnousun have one number in use, which is:

  • Door opening / disorderly conduct / Emergency maintenance service: 0500 523 759 (normal phone call rates apply)

The new phone numbers will be in place starting December 1st, 2020 at 12.00 p.m. If you have saved the old numbers to your phone, you should change them to the new numbers.

The big quantity of new properties transferring to the new maintenance company can cause delays in the maintenance of properties. We thank all of our tenants for your understanding during this transfer!
