Two Omago shared cars are available for TYS tenants: a fully electric car at the Nummenranta parking area and a hybrid at the Tyyssija parking area.

How to get started
- Download the Omago app from the app store.
- Register and enter the membership code: TYS21.
- Book a car and follow the instructions in the app.
Car pick-up and return
Pick-up: Unlock the car using the app. Disconnect the charging cable from the car and the charging post, close the charging port lid, and place the cable in the trunk.
Return: Always return the car to the same parking space. Reconnect the charging cable and lock the doors using the app.
Note: You may not park your own car in the shared car parking space during your rental.
Good to know about the electric car (Nissan Leaf):
The theoretical driving range of the electric car is approximately 200 km. Please note that the actual range depends on driving style, load, outside temperature, and the use of heating or air conditioning.
Charging: You can charge the car during your trip using the car’s own charging cable.
Charging port: Open the lid by pressing the “fuel button” located on the left side of the steering wheel.

START
The car doors are unlocked and locked via the app.
EQUIPMENT
The car is equipped with a snow brush and a parking disc. If these are missing, please contact our customer service so we can provide replacements as soon as possible.
NESTE CARD
The Neste card found in the car can be used to purchase fuel, car wash services, and windshield washer fluid. Missing snow brushes or parking discs can also be purchased with this card. The PIN code for the card can be found in the app while the booking is active.
REFUELING
The fuel tank can be opened using the lever located on the left side of the driver’s seat, next to the seat.

Instructions: Electric car Nissan Leaf
START
The car doors are unlocked via the app after activating the booking. During the booking, the physical key found in the car is used to lock and unlock the doors. The key is located in the glove compartment or the center console.
Remember to disconnect the charging cable before driving. The charging cable is disconnected by pressing the release button located next to the steering wheel.
Charging cables are located in the trunk if the car needs to be charged somewhere other than its home location.
Press the brake pedal firmly and start the car using the power button.
Release the parking brake using the pedal located on the far left side of the driver’s footwell. The brake is released by pressing the pedal and then letting it return. The brake is re-engaged by pressing the pedal again.

If you are going on a longer trip (over 200 km), please check suitable charging locations in advance. The Neste card in the car cannot be used for charging. During the booking, charging costs must be paid by the customer.

Van and hybrid
Rent a car
The van is in the Nummenranta parking lot and the hybrid in the Eastern side of the Student Village, in the parking lot between the 78A and 74A buildings. The service is provided by 24rent.
