Have you applied for an apartment from TYS for August and are waiting for an offer?
We are currently offering apartments that will become available in August. The allocation process takes several weeks, and we have received many more applications than there are available apartments. Unfortunately, not all applicants will receive a housing offer, even if they submitted their application well in advance.
A housing offer is valid for 4 days, so it is important to respond promptly. Due to the large number of applicants, we can generally make only one housing offer per applicant. Therefore, we encourage you to carefully consider whether the offered apartment could be suitable for you, even if it is not your first choice. We only offer applicants apartments that they have selected in their application.
We will send an email to every new student who has applied for housing for the autumn, informing them of the outcome of their application. You can therefore be assured that we will contact you regardless of the result of your housing application.
Once all apartments becoming available in August have been offered, we will begin offering apartments that will become available in September. So please do not be discouraged if you do not receive an offer immediately. Your application remains valid for three months, and you can renew it through the Applicant service.
