In September, we looked for new tenant bloggers among our tenants and received a large number of great applications. The application period has now ended, and our tenants Noora, Sara and Tiia will start as our new bloggers in the beginning of November!

Noora
Hey, I’m Noora! I just, i.e. two months ago, started my second year in the University of Turku. Right now, I’m doing my bachelor’s in psychology, with a minor in neuroscience.
I moved to my studio in Haliskylä right before the start of my studies in the summer of 2025. Last August my world’s most adorable cat, Lumikki (Snow White), moved here as well. My apartment is absolutely lovely, and cycle to the university in about 10 minutes from here.
As a tenant blogger, I plan to share content especially about sustainable consumption, handicrafts and interior decoration. I hope my posts will give you nice tips for your own everyday life and cheer you up.

Hi! I’m Sara an international Master’s student in Drug Discovery and Development. I live in a studio apartment with its own kitchen in Student Village West.
I got here to Tuku to months ago and since then I’ve been living in a lovely studio apartment with its own kitchen in Student Village West. These two months have been like an emotional roller coaster, but I feel super excited to see what Turku has to offer me.
I know I’ll have a great time, and that’s why I applied to be a blogger: to share my experiences and all the adventures that come up with starting a new chapter in a new country. Hi! I’m Tiia, and I moved from Vaasa to Turku to study together with my partner. We found a lovely and spacious one-bedroom apartment in the western part of the Student Village, where we’ve been living since the beginning of August 2026.
I’m a first-year Information and Communications Technology student at Turku University of Applied Sciences. I’ve really enjoyed living in Turku, and in my blog, I’ll be sharing things like my life as a student in a new city and what it’s like to share everyday life with my partner.
