The Autumn TYS Kick-off will take place on 17 September from 12:00 to 15:00 at Tyyssija Courtyard (Inspehtorinkatu 12). At the event, you’ll get to explore various services and organizations that are useful for students. Come along and pick up the best tips and services!
At the TYS stand, you can chat with our service advisors about housing and apartment applications.

CampusSport
CampusSport offers affordable sports services for students and staff of universities in Turku. With the sports fee (85 € / academic year for students), you get access to gyms, instructed classes, and ball game sessions.

Turun Ekotori
At Autumn TYS Kickoff Turun Ekotori will organize a Pop-Up collection in Tyyssija Courtyard for reusable small items and clothes that are intact and clean. We accept bicycles and small electrical appliances in any condition.
By donating items you no longer need, you support our work for the environment and employment, while also saving natural resources.

Föli
Föli, the public transport service of the Turku region, provides smooth and user-friendly transport in seven municipalities. At Föli’s mobile service point, you can ask about bus routes, get a new Föli card, load your travel card, update your student discount, and of course pick up a Föli overall patch. Start your autumn smoothly by taking care of your travel card needs in one go!

Environmental Mentors
The Environmental Mentors group, formed by the Student Village West residents’ committee, was created through the RESPONSE project funded by the EU Horizon 2020 program. The project aims to build a plan for a climate-friendly and sustainable city, with the Student Village serving as a Positive Energy District (PED)!
We organize fun, hands-on events on themes of sustainable living for Student Village residents. Our most popular events, which we plan to organize again, include Green Walks, movie nights, picnics, and flea markets.
