All our apartments becoming free in September have now been offered to applicants. A few apartments could still become available due to cancellations, however, so if you are still waiting for a housing offer, please keep checking your email.
As usual, the number of applicants applying for student housing for August and September exceeded the number of apartments becoming available, which means that unfortunately we were not able to offer housing to all applicants.
Student apartments become free all year round, however, which means that an application submitted in the summer can still result in a housing offer later in the autumn. All apartment applications submitted will remain valid for three months at a time, but you can always renew the application by signing in to the Applicant service.
Didn’t get an apartment?
In addition to the application’s submission date, also the criteria you have set for the apartment affect your chances of receiving an apartment offer. If you need an apartment quickly, we recommend you to apply for a wide range of different apartment types at several different housing locations.
Remember to also make sure that the criteria you have set for the size and rent level of the apartment correspond to our housing offer – you simply cannot be given an offer if our selection of apartments does not have any apartments meeting your criteria.

Did you find an apartment from elsewhere?
Available housing can also be found with other housing providers and from the private rental market. Further tips for finding a rental apartment are available on the websites of Study in Turku and the City of Turku.
