Studentbystiftelsen i \u00c5bos (TYS) projekt Kyl\u00e4nkulma, som \u00e4r bel\u00e4get i \u00f6stra Studentbyn l\u00e4ngs Halistentie, framskrider. Den 4 juni 2025 godk\u00e4nde stadsmilj\u00f6n\u00e4mnden i \u00c5bo TYS:s ans\u00f6kan om undantag fr\u00e5n detaljplanen.<\/p>\n

\u201dProjektets f\u00f6rsta byggskede omfattar tre bostadsh\u00f6ghus med \u00f6ver 200 l\u00e4genheter. Nu kan vi g\u00e5 vidare till n\u00e4sta steg i projektet \u2013 vidare planering, upphandling, finansieringsarrangemang och det slutliga investeringsbeslutet\u201d, s\u00e4ger Anssi Aalto<\/strong>, fastighetschef p\u00e5 TYS.<\/p>\n

Kyl\u00e4nkulma best\u00e5r av fem femv\u00e5ningshus och ett fyrav\u00e5ningshus. Projektet omfattar totalt \u00f6ver 350 nya studentbost\u00e4der i tv\u00e5 byggskeden och planeras genomf\u00f6ras som ett statligt r\u00e4nteunderst\u00f6tt objekt.<\/p>\n

Efterfr\u00e5gan p\u00e5 studentbost\u00e4der i \u00c5bo har \u00f6kat under de senaste \u00e5ren och f\u00f6rv\u00e4ntas forts\u00e4tta v\u00e4xa. Byggprojektet Kyl\u00e4nkulma m\u00f6jligg\u00f6r ett st\u00f6rre utbud av h\u00f6gklassiga och prisv\u00e4rda studentbost\u00e4der p\u00e5 ett bra l\u00e4ge n\u00e4ra campusomr\u00e5det.<\/p>\n

\u201dUndantagstillst\u00e5ndet underl\u00e4ttar genomf\u00f6randet av Kyl\u00e4nkulma i h\u00f6g grad och kan bana v\u00e4g f\u00f6r fortsatt studentbostadsbyggande av Studentbystiftelsen i \u00c5bo. Planerna har beh\u00f6vt uppdateras, s\u00e4rskilt f\u00f6r att hantera kostnaderna, samt p\u00e5 grund av statens stramare r\u00e4nteunderst\u00f6dsregler och den i praktiken borttagna investeringsst\u00f6dsmodellen f\u00f6r studentbost\u00e4der. Behovet och efterfr\u00e5gan \u00e4r verkliga\u201d, s\u00e4ger Risto Siilos<\/strong>, verkst\u00e4llande direkt\u00f6r p\u00e5 TYS.<\/p>\n
