The majority of customers come to us to pick up parcels, and the locker is the most popular delivery method. From the new outdoor lockers, you can conveniently pick up and send prepaid parcels around the clock,\u201d says Mikko Simil\u00e4, Partnership Manager at Posti.<\/p>\n<p>The first new outdoor lockers were opened on 2nd March Student Village East and at Yo-talot:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Student Village East, address Yo-kyl\u00e4 15 A, 20540 Turku<\/li>\n<li>Yo-talot, address Rehtoripellonkatu 4\u20136, 20500 Turku<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>As part of the cooperation, a total of five outdoor lockers will be introduced for customers in the area during spring 2026. The goal is to respond to growing demand and bring popular parcel services as close to customers as possible. The courtyards of student housing locations provide an excellent environment for outdoor lockers in places where people move about.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt is great to receive services that increase the smoothness of everyday life and make daily matters easier. Posti\u2019s outdoor lockers at TYS\u00b4s housing locations are a good example of a service that facilitates tenants\u2019 daily lives, while also supporting more sustainable mobility and living, and complementing the existing services,\u201d says Anssi Aalto, TYS \u00b4s Real Estate Manager.<\/p>\n<p>Posti\u2019s domestic outdoor lockers have been developed in cooperation with Finnish technology partners, and they are suitable for the Finnish climate. The lockers receive their energy from batteries and do not require a separate connection to mains electricity or data cabling.<\/p>\n<p>The opening hours and locations of all Posti offices and lockers
