family apartments and shared apartments. In other words, we’re bound to have an apartment that fits your needs!<\/p>\n

There is a slight language barrier<\/strong> when talking about the number of rooms in different apartment types, so let’s clear things up from the get go! A TYS two-room apartment, for example, doesn’t have two bedrooms, but – quite literally – two rooms<\/em>. In most cases this might mean a bedroom and a living room. Be sure to check out the layout of the apartment before applying to avoid any surprises!<\/p>\n

Please note, that we only allow one tenant in apartments that are smaller than 34m2.<\/strong> The same goes for shared apartments: a room in a shared apartment is intended for one tenant only. So be sure to apply for a family apartment, if you’re moving together with someone.<\/p>\n

The expectation of what an unfurnished apartment might include varies a lot between different countries, so here’s a rundown of what you can expect when moving in to a TYS apartment!<\/p>\n

All apartments include some sort of cabinet or wardrobe for your clothes.<\/p>\n

The kitchens are equipped with a refrigerator, cabinets, a faucet and a sink and a stove or a stove-oven depending on the type of apartment. Some kitchens have a dishwasher connection, but the dishwasher itself is not included.<\/p>\n

The bathrooms are equipped with a shower (no bathtubs), a toilet seat, a mirror and a sink. Some apartments also include a bidet shower. Some apartments have a connection for a washing machine, but the washing machine itself is not included. Shower curtains are not included either.<\/p>\n

These apartments are still equipped with a small refrigerator and a shelf you can put a microwave oven on. The actual kitchen is located in the hallway has a stove, an oven and cabinets, but no refrigetator. As the name implies, the kitchen is shared between the tenants of that floor.<\/p>\n
