line_type=”No Line” custom_height=”30″][vc_column_text css=”” text_direction=”default”]All parking areas of the Turku Student Village Foundation (TYS) housing locations require a parking permit via the eParking application. The system is in place\u00a0to ensure that the parking spaces of the housing locations are always firstly available to our tenants.<\/p>\n

Every TYS tenant can get a parking permit to their housing locations parking area. The parking permit is available for the tenants free of charge, but the tenant has to 1. apply for a parking licance in the eParking app and after the license has been granted 2. reserve a right to park in a chosen parking area via app. The parking permit expires when the lease of the apartment ends.<\/p>\n

Please note that there are not enough parking spaces for every tenant in TYS housing locations. The parking permit does not guarantee a free space but provides you the right to park if there are free spaces in your housing locations parking area (except for the paid spaces with heating poles).[\/vc_column_text][vc_column_text]Please note that the parking spaces in free use are intended for cars that are in regular use. Vehicles that are not registered or trailers cannot be stored in a free-of-charge parking space. Remember to ensure that your car does not block snowploughs in the winter.[\/vc_column_text][vc_column_text css=”” text_direction=”default”]Notice:<\/strong> TYS is not responsible for any damage to or loss of a tenant’s vehicle or the belongings inside it. Tenants can obtain insurance for their vehicle to provide protection in cases of damage or vandalism. The two charging places of the station, 12A 1 and 12A 2, can be found at the end of Student Village 12A, in the Tyyssija parking are. Only those who have reserved a parking space may park in the spaces with car heating poles. Price of the parking space is 15 \u20ac\/month and in Tavasti location, the price of a space in the parking garage is 30\u20ac\/month. You do not<\/strong> need to pick-up a separate key for the heating pole from the TYS office.[\/vc_column_text][vc_column_text text_direction=”default”]Parking space reservations are made through the eParking<\/a> system. There are no reservable parking spaces available in the eParking system at Auranhelmi or Iltakajo.<\/p>\n

Regular parking spaces (ones without a heating pole) require a parking permit specific to the housing location in question. The permit is free and can be applied for via eParking.<\/p>\n

  • You can only make parking space reservations and apply for access to our parking areas after the starting date of your rental agreement.<\/li>\n
  • When you terminate your rental agreement, your parking space reservation and any granted access to parking spaces will be terminated in the eParking system. Please keep this in mind if you move from one apartment to another in the same area.<\/li>\n
  • There are reservable no parking spaces at Yo-talot.<\/li>\n
  • The parking spaces with a heating option at Iltakajo are rented by Akseli Kiinteist\u00f6palvelut Oy.<\/li>\n
  • The tenants of Auranhelmi can inquire about available garage parking spaces from the parking garage of Kiinteist\u00f6 Oy Turun Kaakelinna.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n <\/div>[divider line_type=”No Line” custom_height=”30″][vc_custom_heading text=”Using the heating pole” font_container=”tag:h3|text_align:left|color:%23829974″ use_theme_fonts=”yes”][divider line_type=”No Line” custom_height=”30″][vc_column_text css=”” text_direction=”default”]The heating poles either have a timer or they work automatically based on the outdoor temperature. Using interior heaters is prohibited.
